Arch. DIⁱⁿ Olivia E. Schimek-Hickisch

As a fully chartered architect with a broad experience in many aspects of building Olivia Schimek-Hickisch brings in her expertise since many years also as a Legally sworn and court-certified expert by accompanying lawsuits and providing private surveys.

Mrs Schimek-Hickisch studied architecture in Vienna and Canada, accompanied by numerous study trips. She practised in Singapore and lived in London. After the death of her father, she took over the architectural practice, passed the civil engineering examination and her work as an architect covers a diverse range of projects throughout Austria and internationally. She gives lectures at national and international specialist conferences on the topics of sustainable and ecological building and works as a trainer and juror for architectural competitions. She is involved in various organizations and founded the women's committee ‘ZIMT’ in the Chamber of Civil Engineers of Upper Austria and Salzburg. The variety of projects in her office covers a broad spectrum from private single-family homes, remodeling and refurbishment to public buildings and the general planning of large construction projects.
